From Early Curiosity to Formal Training
Dr. Kusina’s interest in botanical care began long before she considered launching a brand.
Growing up in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, she observed how plants were used within her community for nourishment, healing, and daily self-care. That early familiarity stayed with her as she pursued scientific studies and eventually entered the natural health and cosmetic sectors.
Her later studies, including certification through Formula Botanica, allowed her to translate this background into structured formulation practice—understanding not just what ingredients were used traditionally, but how to apply them safely, effectively, and consistently in modern skincare.

A Personal Motivation: Sensitive Skin and Real-World Needs
The decision to launch Nashé Beauty in 2021 was influenced not only by professional knowledge but also by personal experience.
“I wanted to create products for people with sensitive skin,” she explains. “In my own family we saw issues like eczema and allergies. I felt there was space for formulations that were both gentle and truly effective.”
Rather than following trends, she focused on compatibility—creating products that support the skin’s barrier instead of overwhelming it.

A Family-Driven Business Model
Nashé Beauty also reflects a collaborative family structure.
Her husband assists with sourcing, logistics, and operational coordination, while her sons contribute to fulfillment and organization. This close involvement allows the company to maintain careful oversight of materials and processes.
“It keeps us grounded,” she notes. “We remain directly connected to every step.”

Purpose Beyond Skincare
Dr. Kusina also sees the brand as a way to give back to communities connected to her origins. She speaks of wanting to encourage young women, particularly those facing limited opportunities, to believe they can pursue education, entrepreneurship, and independence.
Her parents, both educators, strongly influenced this outlook — and she continues to see Nashé Beauty as an extension of their values.
Who Nashé Beauty Is Designed For
The brand resonates particularly with individuals seeking:
- skincare that supports rather than stresses sensitive skin
- balanced anti-aging approaches
- transparency about ingredients
- a connection to ethically sourced botanicals
- products intended for long-term use rather than rapid results

Looking Ahead
As Nashé Beauty grows, Dr. Kusina hopes to expand its reach while maintaining its original intent: carefully crafted products that encourage confidence, comfort, and thoughtful self-care.
“I want people to experience something meaningful,” she says. “Not just results—but a sense of care.”
Nashé Beauty reflects Dr. Kusina’s belief that skincare should be both thoughtful and effective—grounded in respect for the skin, informed by cultural knowledge, and shaped through modern formulation practices.
Rather than pursuing rapid transformation, the brand emphasizes consistency, comfort, and long-term skin support, offering products designed to integrate easily into daily rituals.
